Guangxi Carbon Neutralization Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd. is an intelligent and innovative state-owned enterprise funded and established by Guangxi Forest Industry Group Co., Ltd. with the approval of the Forestry Bureau of the Autonomous Region and the concern and care of the leaders of the Autonomous Region after the country proposed the "dual carbon" goal. The company was established in June 2021, and its main businesses include the development of voluntary greenhouse gas emission reduction projects, carbon asset management, and carbon neutrality consulting, certification, training, etc.

The company inherits the nearly 70 years of forestry development history of state-owned forest farms directly under the jurisdiction of the autonomous region. Currently, under the guidance of the forestry bureau of the autonomous region, it is undertaking major tasks such as the regional forestry carbon sequestration development and trading pilot project, the study of collective forest land participation in the carbon market model and path, the preparation of the Guangxi Ecological Carbon sequestration Industry Research Institute, and the development of new methodologies for forestry carbon sequestration projects.

Wu Shuhong, a professor and doctoral supervisor of Beijing Forestry University, director of the Forestry Carbon Sink Measurement and Monitoring Center, and member of the National Low Carbon Certification Technical Committee, served as the company's chief expert.
